Jeff is the Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach. He came to Life Prep Academy for the opportunity to work with student athletes from all around the world. Jeff graduated from North High School and went on to play college baseball at Newman University, where he graduated with a degree in business management.
After college, he went on to play with the Whitesands Pupfish (NM) and the Rincon Turistas in Puerto Rico. When his playing career ended, he became the assistant coach for Circle High School. In his third season at Circle, they set the school record for wins and won a regional playoff game. Jeff is now the current Head Baseball Coach for Life Prep Academy High SchoolIn Jeff’s first season at Life Prep, the Fire finished 2nd in the HCAA state tournament. The second season was the COVID Year. Jeff’s third season at Life Prep, the Fire won the KCAA State Championship.
Last year, the baseball team was invited to the IMG National Classic where they had two players make the IMG National All -Tournament team. The Fire beat the #29 ranked high school in the United States and finished their season by winning the Hays Tournament for the first time in School History! Jeff is also a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and used to run baseball specific strength and speed programs for high school and college players.
He is the Co-Owner/Hitting Coordinator for the Wichita Aeros Baseball Academy and coaches their 18U team.Jeff is married to Hayley Oldenburg and has 3 boys. He enjoys going to sporting events, swimming, traveling working out and spending time with family.
